Monday already??

This weekend FLEW by! Adam's dad made it into town on Friday and it's been great having him around. Saturday morning I proctored the SATs then went to a baby shower for a friend. That evening Molly had a Mamma-Mia party. She went all out with the decorations and food.
On Sunday we took Adam's dad around town and to the Island Pub for pizza (so good!). We took him to the Friends of the Library and found a bunch of used books (I even found an Australia travel book).
Tomorrow is Monday and it's back to work. Only one more week left in January. Crazy!

Company is coming!

Adam's dad is coming to visit us this weekend. It'll be great to see him and show him Juneau. Last time he was here it was only for a few hours. This time he'll be here for 4 days. I think Adam is going to make him go to school with us

It was tough heading back to work after having 3 days off. Adam and I slept in every day so 6 a.m. was pretty tough. It's nice that tomorrow is hump day already though!

Anybody watch the inauguration? I missed it but Adam had his class watch it. He was telling his class that this would be their first "big historical moment" that they would remember. This evening he and I were discussing what our first historical memories were. His was the Challenger shuttle and mine was when the Berlin wall fell.

I'm spending my New Years day taking down my Christmas tree and applying for the PFD online (ALASKAN'S...DON'T FORGET TO DO THIS!!!).

Tomorrow Molly and I are heading to Rejuvination for a manicure, pedicure, facial and massage. I cannot wait!
